Sourweisse

Nøgne Ø Sourweisse is another of the 4 session Summer beers of 2015, this one was brewed by Rolf Tore Vik and is his interpretation of a Berliner Weisse.

Light yellow to golden in colour, the aroma was pretty mild of grains and wheat, some lemon and spice. Very light in the body and taste for a Berliner Weisse, slightly tarty with a touch of lactic acid on the palette. Quite flat and low on carbonation did not help this beer and it had some bread and yeast in the aroma. Easy to drink but tasted flat, not much going on beside some light acidity and delicate malt tones.
