Nøgne Ø Imperial Stout Whisky BA pours pitch black with a bubbly brown head, aroma was not what I was expecting, very powerful whisky and oak. Aroma of soya sauce, leather, peat and of burnt caramel, to say the least this aroma was not anything I liked and miles away from the original IS version. Full bodied, thick and oily texture with very dominant whisky, even mineraly in taste which left a very dry and woody after-taste. Nope, can't say I enjoyed drinking this version of an Imperial Stout.
